It’s been a busy 2018 for me and that trend doesn’t look to be changing anytime soon!
I’ve really wanted to start writing blog posts that cover all the different aspects of having a time-lapse, cinemagraph, and photography business while going to University full-time in environmental science, so stay tuned for that.
I’ve wanted to overhaul my website for a while now as I’ve felt I was holding myself back not being able to license video, cinemagraphs, or photos directly through my site. After many months of research I’ve actually come full circle and signed up for another year with Squarespace. I’ll write a blog post in the future about the whole process and what changed I made to accomplish my goals.
My first major time-lapse film project, Hinterlands, took place in August and was incredible! The sheer volume of photos and time-lapses taken has been overwhelming. 55,000 photos, >250 time-lapse clips. I spend the first week back simply organizing the folders of images but more on that in a future post, this is just an update.
Basically, I just wanted to say “Hi” and welcome everyone to the blog and new site. I’m looking forward to getting better at this whole blogging thing.
Cheers from Canada.
